Novotel Jodhpur has announced the promotion of Surendra Shekhawat to the newly created role of Associate Director of Finance, strengthening Accor’s regional finance leadership in Rajasthan. Prior to this elevation, Surendra was serving as Finance Manager at the property.
With over 15 years of experience in hospitality finance, Surendra has built a strong professional track record across reputed hotel brands, including Radisson Hotel Kandla, Novotel Ahmedabad, and Novotel Jodhpur. Since January 2024, he has been leading the finance function at Novotel Jodhpur, playing a key role in strengthening financial controls, compliance, and operational efficiencies.
In his new role, Surendra will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across key Accor properties in Rajasthan. He will also be responsible for driving strategic initiatives aimed at improving profitability, operational effectiveness, and mentoring finance leaders across the region.
Commenting on the promotion, Ritesh Mudgal, General Manager, Novotel Jodhpur, said that Surendra has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and strategic financial acumen. His expertise in compliance and operational finance has contributed significantly to improved financial performance at the property, he added.
As Associate Director of Finance, Surendra will work closely with divisional and corporate finance teams to support long-term growth and financial resilience across Accor’s portfolio in Rajasthan and neighbouring markets.
