Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Sujan Ganguly as Area Director – Operations & Pre-Opening for India and Nepal, reinforcing its leadership team as the company accelerates expansion across key markets in the region.

With over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Ganguly brings extensive operational expertise and a proven track record in driving hotel performance, brand positioning, and operational excellence. He has held senior leadership roles with reputed hospitality brands including Ginger Hotels, Royal Orchid Hotels, Lords Hotels & Resorts, Fortune Hotels, Taj Hotels, Golden Tulip Hotels, Sarovar Hotels, and Peerless Hotels.

An award-winning General Manager, Ganguly is known for his strategic and people-centric leadership style. His experience spans hotel operations, pre-opening management, brand development, and revenue optimisation, with a strong focus on building high-performing teams and strengthening operational frameworks.

In his new role, Ganguly will oversee operational performance and lead pre-opening initiatives across Cygnett’s growing portfolio in India and Nepal. His mandate includes ensuring operational consistency, brand alignment, and enhanced guest experiences across properties.
