Marriott International to introduce EDITION brand in India

Marriott International announced a signed agreement with Prestige Falcon Realty Ventures Private Limited to open The Mumbai EDITION. Expected to debut in 2028, The Mumbai EDITION will mark the brand’s first property in India, establishing a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in the region.

Situated along a prime arterial road within the prestigious Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), The Mumbai EDITION will offer an unparalleled location in the heart of one of Mumbai’s most coveted business districts. Surrounded by 12 million square feet of thriving commercial space, the hotel will stand at the nexus of commerce and culture. Guests will find themselves just moments away from the iconic Jio World Convention Centre, Jio Gardens — renowned for its vibrant music festivals and exclusive events — and a variety of luxury retail destinations, ensuring convenience and connectivity at every turn.

The Mumbai EDITION, rooted in the brand’s strong sense of refined simplicity and style, is slated to open with 182 luxurious guest rooms, including one penthouse suite, a lively lobby bar, a rooftop terrace with a pool, an expansive spa and wellness facility, a fitness centre and multiple bars and restaurants. Plans include 1,385 square meters of versatile meeting and banquet space, elegantly designed to accommodate a range of events, from corporate meetings to intimate social celebrations. Bathed in natural light, with customizable layouts, the venues will be enhanced by state-of-the-art audiovisual technology and sophisticated décor, reflecting the hotel’s refined aesthetic.
