AYANA Midplaza Jakarta has appointed Morris Tiedemann as its new General Manager, signalling a leadership shift aimed at strengthening its positioning in the city’s competitive urban hospitality market.
Tiedemann brings nearly three decades of international experience across Europe, the Middle East and China, with prior leadership roles at major global hotel groups including IHG, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
His appointment comes as AYANA Hospitality looks to reinforce its flagship urban property in Jakarta, with a focus on enhancing guest experience, operational performance and brand positioning.
With a track record in hotel openings, repositioning and turnarounds, Tiedemann is expected to drive the next phase of growth for the property, aligning business, leisure and lifestyle offerings in one of Southeast Asia’s key city markets.
