Club Med Appoints Marc Lauret as Sales Director for Singapore & Malaysia

Club Med has appointed Marc Lauret as Sales Director for Singapore and Malaysia, underlining the brand’s focus on accelerating growth and strengthening trade partnerships across two of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic outbound travel markets.

Lauret brings with him a strong track record in commercial strategy, digital transformation and trade engagement, joining the organisation at a time when Club Med is further sharpening its premium positioning while expanding its footprint across both sun and ski resort offerings. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to build on the brand’s growing momentum in the region.

With extensive international experience across markets such as the UK, Ireland and the Nordics, Lauret is known for his data-driven approach and ability to drive performance across indirect sales, MICE and digital distribution channels. In his previous roles, he played a key role in enhancing engagement with travel partners by developing integrated platforms that combined booking tools, content and performance tracking, contributing to a significant rise in bookings during recent sales campaigns.

He has also been instrumental in strengthening trade relationships through structured frameworks and loyalty initiatives, enabling deeper collaboration with high-performing partners. His efforts in expanding the product mix have delivered notable results, including increasing the share of sun resort bookings in traditionally ski-focused markets, reflecting his ability to adapt strategies to evolving consumer demand.

In addition, Lauret has contributed to positioning Club Med as a strong player in the Meetings and Events segment, driving substantial growth through curated resort experiences and large-scale offerings, while also increasing direct engagement with corporate clients. His focus on digital distribution and partnerships has further enhanced the brand’s reach, including collaborations with global travel players such as British Airways Holidays.

His leadership has also been marked by the implementation of data-driven tools and automated reporting systems, enabling travel partners to make more informed and agile business decisions.

Commenting on his new role, Lauret said he looks forward to working closely with partners across Singapore and Malaysia to unlock new opportunities and deliver exceptional holiday experiences, especially at a time when travel demand continues to show strong growth.

With forward bookings indicating sustained momentum, Club Med remains well-positioned to further strengthen its presence across the Singapore and Malaysia markets in the coming years.
