IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in hospitality, has partnered with Ananya Group (Prabhukrupa Estates & Properties) to establish a 100-key Holiday Inn hotel in Puri, Odisha. Scheduled to open in late 2028, the hotel will be located at a scenic sea-facing site along the Bay of Bengal, catering to both leisure and spiritual travelers visiting this iconic city.
Renowned for the Jagannath Temple, Puri is a major Hindu pilgrimage destination attracting over two million tourists annually. The city also offers natural and cultural attractions like Chilika Lake and the Sun Temple at Konark, making it a unique blend of spiritual and leisure experiences. The new Holiday Inn Puri will feature 100 guest rooms, sea views, and a grand ballroom alongside versatile meeting spaces to support MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events and social gatherings.
The hotel will also introduce the brand’s innovative Open Lobby concept, which transforms traditional hotel lobbies into dynamic spaces for dining, working, or relaxing. With its strategic location and excellent connectivity by road and air, Holiday Inn Puri is poised to serve the growing demand for quality accommodations in the city, particularly for weddings, MICE events, and tourism from West Bengal and neighboring states.

IHG currently operates 46 hotels across five brands in India and has a robust pipeline of 58 hotels set to open over the next three to five years, further solidifying its position in the Indian hospitality market.
