Royal Orchid Signs Regenta Resort Tropical Village in Mysore, Introducing Eco-Conscious and Culturally Immersive Hospitality

In a strategic move to expand its footprint in India’s heritage destinations, Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd. (ROHL) has signed a new property under its Regenta brand—Regenta Resort Tropical Village in Mysore. Developed on a franchise model, the project supports ROHL’s asset-light growth strategy while offering a unique blend of sustainable luxury and cultural immersion.

Located in a serene setting, the resort will feature 35 cottages, each inspired by the architecture, culture, and cuisines of seven continents, making it a first-of-its-kind experience. A key highlight is the Mangala Kutira block, comprising 12 rooms themed around India’s Pancha Bhootas and Pancha Tattva, offering guests a deeper connection to ancient Indian philosophy.

Guests can look forward to diverse dining options, an eco-friendly swimming pool, a dedicated Yoga Hall, and spaces for traditional Indian games. The resort will also include a 12,000 sq. ft. outdoor lawn, ideal for cultural events, retreats, and private celebrations.

According to Arjun Baljee, President of ROHL, and Mahesh, owner of Tropical Village, the project is a step toward redefining hospitality by merging sustainability with cultural authenticity. As Mysore continues to grow as a tourist hub, Regenta Resort Tropical Village is set to become a landmark destination for both domestic and international travelers seeking a meaningful and immersive stay experience.
