In an exciting announcement, the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) has unveiled its highly anticipated lineup of prestigious events for 2024. This 8th edition of SATA promises to celebrate and honour excellence in the hospitality sector across the South Asian region, continuing its tradition of recognizing outstanding achievements.
Supported by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and the Hotels Association of Nepal (HAN), the festivities will commence with a grand cocktail event on September 19, 2024, at The Malla Hotel. This event, designed as a prime networking opportunity, aims to foster connections among key players in the hospitality industry, providing a platform for meaningful collaborations and business growth.
The celebrations will continue on September 20, 2024, with another cocktail event at Aloft Kathmandu. This highly anticipated gathering will highlight and reward exceptional achievements in South Asian hospitality, showcasing the pinnacle of excellence in the industry.
Over the years, SATA has held its prestigious events in various locations, including Mount Lavinia, Addu City, Mumbai, Galle City, Male’ Atoll, and Bengaluru. During the pandemic, one edition was conducted virtually, demonstrating SATA’s adaptability and commitment to celebrating excellence even in challenging times.
