Global hospitality group Minor Hotels has announced the upcoming opening of Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane, a premium lifestyle hotel scheduled to launch in Q2 2026 in Vientiane.
The property will become the company’s second hotel in Laos, joining Avani+ Luang Prabang located in the UNESCO-listed town of Luang Prabang. The development strengthens Minor Hotels’ presence in Southeast Asia as the region continues to grow as a culturally rich travel destination.
Located on Fa Ngum Road and about 15 minutes from Wattay International Airport, the hotel is positioned to cater to both business and leisure travellers visiting the Laotian capital.
The new Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane will feature 197 guestrooms, including deluxe rooms, suites and a presidential suite, designed to combine modern functionality with Avani’s contemporary lifestyle hospitality concept.
Dining options will include four venues, featuring an all-day restaurant, café and deli, social bar concept and a fine-dining outlet with private dining rooms. The hotel will also offer wellness facilities including AvaniSpa, a fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool.
For meetings and events, the property will house the Lanexang Hall ballroom accommodating up to 320 guests, along with additional meeting rooms and an outdoor lawn for corporate events and weddings.
The opening builds on the success of Avani+ Luang Prabang and reflects Minor Hotels’ strategy to expand lifestyle hospitality offerings in destinations that blend cultural heritage with growing international travel demand.
