Hospitality Sector Concerned Over Commercial LPG Constraints: Paradise MD

Commercial LPG supply constraints are emerging as a concern for the hospitality industry, where cooking fuel remains a critical operational requirement for restaurants and food chains.

Mr. Abhik Mitra, Managing Director and CEO of Paradise Food Court Pvt Ltd, said the company is closely monitoring LPG inventory across its outlets while working with supply partners to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations.

“We are evaluating alternative cooking mechanisms, including electricity-based solutions where feasible, to maintain operational continuity,” Mitra said.

He emphasised that Paradise will continue to focus on its core offerings such as biryanis, haleem and kebabs while maintaining the same quality and consistency that customers expect from the brand.

According to Mitra, the situation highlights the need for large hospitality networks to further strengthen supply chains and explore alternative cooking solutions, as gas remains a critical input for commercial kitchens.

Industry stakeholders believe that building stronger crisis preparedness and operational resilience will be important for the long-term sustainability of the hospitality sector.
