LaRiSa Hotels & Resorts and AM Hotel Kollection have announced a strategic merger, creating a dominant force in India’s hospitality sector. The combined entity, operating under the LaRiSa Hotels & Resorts brand, now boasts a portfolio of 32 hotels, resorts, and villas, with 26 operational units comprising 950 keys and six more properties with 120 keys in the pipeline. With a combined annual operating revenue exceeding INR 100 crore, the merger enhances the group’s ability to expand in the branded and co-branded ownership and management space.
Led by Priya Thakur, Owner & Director of LaRiSa Hotels, and Randhir Narayan, Founder & CEO of AM Hotel Kollection, the new entity aims for a 20-25% growth in the coming years through acquisitions and management contracts. AM Hotel Kollection will continue as a sub-brand within LaRiSa, maintaining its boutique identity while benefiting from LaRiSa’s expanded resources. The group is also set to introduce a new mid-market brand, offering accommodations priced between INR 4,000-9,000 (USD 50-100), tapping into the growing demand for affordable luxury.
The merger strengthens LaRiSa Hotels & Resorts’ position as a leader in experiential hospitality, blending cultural authenticity with modern innovation. The company is also evaluating international expansion, particularly in direct-flight destinations. With a strong commitment to sustainability, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence, the newly formed entity is poised for accelerated growth in the evolving hospitality landscape.
