Shangri-La Eros New Delhi invites food enthusiasts on a month-long global culinary journey during the “Taste of Shangri-La” festival. Running from October 1 to 30, 2024, this event offers guests a chance to indulge in a curated selection of international cuisines at the hotel’s award-winning restaurants, Shang Palace and Sorrento.

As part of a larger gastronomic celebration across 21 signature restaurants in 10 luxurious Shangri-La hotels around the world, including locations in the Middle East, Europe, UK, India, the Indian Ocean, and the Americas, the festival brings the best of global cuisine to New Delhi.

At Shang Palace, renowned for its Cantonese cuisine, the festival will feature a five-course tasting menu with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian selections. Guests can savor authentic flavors from Sichuan, Cantonese, and Yunnan culinary traditions. Highlights of the non-vegetarian menu include a crispy chicken amuse-bouche, a variety of dim sum, signature hot pot rice with sea bass or diced chicken with almonds, and a jasmine tea crème brûlée for dessert. Priced at INR 4,130 per person (all-inclusive), the menu promises an unforgettable dining experience.

Vegetarian diners are equally catered to, with a creative menu featuring black wood ear mushroom amuse-bouche, a dim sum basket, and choices like truffle rice with tofu and mushroom clay pot or Buddha’s Delight. The meal concludes with a berry and yuzu dessert and blueberry sorbet, priced at INR 3,540 per person (all-inclusive).

Sorrento, Shangri-La’s award-winning Italian restaurant, also offers a five-course menu. Non-vegetarian options include dishes such as Butter Poached Hokkaido Scallop, Free Range Organic Chicken Ragout Paccheri, 12-hour Compressed Lamb Shank Steak, and a classic Tiramisu dessert. The vegetarian menu is equally enticing, featuring Wild Mushroom Gougères, Oven Baked Burrata, Liquid Parmigiano Tortellini, and the Incredible Vanilla dessert.
