Country Inn Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Espire Hospitality Limited, has strengthened its presence in Uttarakhand with the opening of three new properties—Country Inn, Dehradun, Country Inn, Rishikesh and Country Inn Smart Stays, Rishikesh. The expansion also marks the debut of a new sub-brand, Country Inn Smart Stays, aimed at younger, experience-driven travellers.
With an already established presence in destinations like Mussoorie, Bhimtal and Jim Corbett National Park, the latest additions reinforce the group’s strategy of expanding across both urban hubs and leisure destinations in the state.
The newly opened Country Inn in Dehradun is a 53-key property located on Saharanpur Road, benefiting from improved connectivity via the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway, which has significantly reduced travel time from Delhi. Positioned to cater to both business and leisure travellers, the hotel offers spacious rooms, a multi-cuisine restaurant, and large-format banqueting facilities, including the Crystal Ballroom and Aura Hall, making it suitable for weddings, conferences and social events.
In Rishikesh, the brand has introduced two distinct formats. Country Inn, Rishikesh, located in Tapovan, offers 28 rooms, including suites with views of the Ganges, and is situated close to key spiritual landmarks such as Lakshman Jhula and Parmarth Niketan Ashram. The hotel features a dining outlet and an intimate event space overlooking the river.
The newly launched Country Inn Smart Stays, Rishikesh, introduces a fresh, youthful concept focused on smart design and ease of stay. Located within walking distance of Lakshman Jhula, the 31-room property features a rooftop swimming pool, BOHO Café, and a vibrant recreation zone, catering to the evolving preferences of modern travellers.
Commenting on the expansion, Akhil Arora, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Espire Hospitality Limited, stated that Uttarakhand continues to be a key focus market due to its growing appeal across leisure, spiritual and experiential travel segments. He added that the company aims to strengthen its presence across major destinations while catering to a diverse mix of travellers through varied formats.
The company currently has over 30 signed hotels and plans to add at least 1,000 keys annually, targeting a portfolio of 45 hotels by the end of FY27.
