Crimson Hotels opens two new properties in Bhutan

Crimson Hotels, a company that specialises in operating luxury and boutique hotels, franchising hotel brands, and conceptualising greenfield projects, has announced its expansion into the Kingdom of Bhutan. The company has opened two new Hotels, “Econostay Lhaki Yangchak Residency”, Thimpu and “Econostay Lhaki Yangchak Residency”, Paro in the ‘Land of Happiness’.

With the addition of these two new Hotels in Bhutan, Crimson now has eight operational Hotels in three countries. The other two being in India & Nepal.

This strategic move marks a significant milestone in Crimson Hotels’ journey, enhancing its portfolio with these exquisite additions in one of the most serene and culturally rich destinations in the world. Expanding Horizons with Lhaki Yangchak Residency Crimson Hotels’ entry into Bhutan signifies its second venture outside India and its continued commitment to expanding its range of offerings in the midscale and upscale hotel segments. The new properties in Thimpu and Paro will feature the signature blend of luxury, comfort, and affordability that “Econostay” is known for.

Econostay, Lhaki Yangchak Residency Thimphu will offer 35 elegantly designed rooms and suites, a multi-cuisine restaurant, and state-of-the-art meeting and banquet facilities, ideal for both business and leisure travellers. Guests will also enjoy a wellness center, recreation room, and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.

Econostay,Lhaki Yangchak Residency Paro, situated close to the Paro International Airport, will provide 18 cozy rooms and suites, each with a touch of traditional Bhutanese architecture. The property will feature a restaurant serving local and international delicacies, meeting and banquet spaces for up to 150 persons, and a fitness center, ensuring a memorable stay for all guests.

Both the Econostay properties are strategically located to offer guests easy access to Bhutan’s key attractions. Thimphu, the capital city, is known for its vibrant culture and historical landmarks, while Paro is famed for its stunning natural beauty and the iconic Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery).

“We have another 20 Hotels in the construction space right now.  The next two years will see The Crimson portfolio announcing another 8 new Hotels in India, Nepal and Bhutan. Four of these new Eight will be 5 stars,” further added Maitraya.

The Crimson Hotels portfolio of brand offerings includes Basics Inn & Suites, offering economy stays, Econostay offering mid-market Hotels to patrons, 5 -star range of hotels under the “Citron” brand and 5-star deluxe, luxury collection under the Akatsukii Collection.
